Replace what’s missing, protect what’s still yours
When only a few teeth are missing, a removable partial lets you keep the rest. Our licensed denturists plan and fit each one here in downtown Perth, our lab technicians shape it to clip snugly against the teeth you still have, and you walk out chewing, speaking, and smiling more like yourself again. A partial that fills the gaps and protects your remaining teeth — planned and fitted in Perth.

A good fit when you have lost some teeth, not all
Maybe a tooth or two has gone, leaving an awkward space when you eat or smile. A partial is made for exactly that — it slots in around your own remaining teeth and quietly takes the place of the ones you have lost, so meals and conversation feel comfortable again.
Closing the gap is only part of it. A partial that is made well also:
- Looks after the teeth you keep An open space lets neighbouring teeth lean and shift over time; a partial holds them in their places and keeps your bite balanced.
- Stays put, lifts out when you want it to It clasps gently to your natural teeth so it holds firm through a meal, then comes out in seconds for easy cleaning at the end of the day.
- Disappears into your smile We match the replacement teeth to your own shade and tuck the clasps out of sight, so the partial reads as part of your natural smile.
What your visits in Perth look like
A partial comes together over a handful of relaxed appointments at Beckwith Street East. At every step your denturist explains what is happening, and nothing is finished until you have seen it and signed off on the look.
-
01
We talk it through
First we look at the teeth you still have, listen to what is bothering you, and sort out where your CDCP or private insurance stands.
-
02
Impressions & bite
Next we take gentle moulds and bite readings — the detail our lab needs to shape a partial that nestles around your own teeth.
-
03
A look before it's set
You try the partial in while it can still be changed, checking how the teeth read and where the clasps sit so we can tweak it together.
-
04
Fitting & settling in
We seat the finished partial and ease any spots that press, then welcome you back for the small tune-ups that come with getting used to it.
Planned in Perth, crafted in our own lab
A licensed denturist plans your partial and fits it to you at our Perth denture clinic, and skilled technicians craft it in our clinic’s own lab — so the person who has seen your smile guides how it turns out, and any fit changes are handled by the same team.
- Your denturist plans it, our technicians build it The denturist you meet maps out the tooth layout, the shade, and your bite; our lab technicians turn that plan into the finished partial.
- One team for the whole journey A fresh partial, a reline, or a quick adjustment — it is all looked after by the people you already know here in Perth.
- Fine-tuned until it sits right We take the time to ease any tight spots so eating and talking stay comfortable as you get used to it.

The questions Perth patients ask us most
Not seeing what is on your mind? Put it to Smiley, or save it for your consultation — either works.
Can’t find your question?

Not at all. Everything — the first consultation, the fitting, and the adjustments afterwards — is done at our Perth clinic on Beckwith Street East. Folks come to us from right across Lanark County, including Smiths Falls, Lanark and Carleton Place, so there is no need to make the trip into Ottawa.

It usually spreads across a few visits — the talk-it-through appointment, then impressions and bite readings, a try-in to check how it sits beside your own teeth, and finally the fitting. Once your denturist has had a proper look at your mouth and the teeth being replaced, they can give you an honest sense of how long yours will take.
-
That is the goal. We shape and shade the new teeth to echo the ones beside them, and place the clasps where they tuck away rather than catch the eye. The try-in gives you the chance to study the look in the mirror and ask for changes before the partial is ever finished.
-
They can be, for patients who qualify under the Canadian Dental Care Plan. We confirm where you stand before any treatment starts and lay out the estimate so you can decide with the full picture in front of you.

In a lot of cases another tooth can be added onto a partial you already have, though it comes down to how yours was built. Mention it at your visit and our denturists will tell you what your particular partial can take, and help you plan ahead if more teeth may need to go.
-
A wobble does not automatically call for a replacement. Once we have checked the fit, the age, the wear and your bite, the answer might be a simple reline, a rebase, a quick adjustment, or in some cases a new partial — we will talk you through which makes sense.
