Damage rarely means a brand-new denture
When a denture breaks, the one you already wear can often be saved. Drop it in to McNeely Avenue — along with any fragments that broke away — and our denturists will judge whether a repair will bring it back.
The kinds of repairs that come through our clinic’s own lab:
- Cracks & fractures A split running through the base, or a thin spot that has finally let go.
- Missing or loose teeth A tooth that has pulled away, refitted into place so your bite lines up again.
- Broken or loose clasps The metal arms that anchor a partial to your own teeth, mended or swapped for new ones.

Not at all. Your consultation, fitting and any adjustments are all done at the Carleton Place clinic on McNeely Avenue. Folks come to us from right across Lanark County — Almonte, Mississippi Mills, Franktown and Ashton among them — as well as from Perth and Smiths Falls nearby.
-
Usually, yes — the majority of cracked, snapped or worn-out dentures can be put right. Bring it by McNeely Avenue and our denturists will look at the damage and explain what the repair involves. Cracks, breaks, lost teeth and broken clasps all come through our clinic’s own lab.
-
That comes down to what’s broken and how badly. Since the work runs through our clinic’s own lab, plenty of repairs are turned around without a long wait. Phone the Carleton Place clinic and we’ll let you know the earliest we can fit you in.
-
Please don’t. Glue from around the house can throw off the fit, isn’t meant to go in your mouth, and often makes a proper fix more difficult afterward. Set the broken pieces aside and bring the whole denture in so a denturist can mend it the right way.
-
Absolutely. Where the denture was originally made makes no difference — bring it to Carleton Place and we’ll see what our clinic’s own lab can do to fix it.
-
For patients who qualify, the Canadian Dental Care Plan may help with a repair. We’ll verify your coverage before any treatment starts and let you know up front what you’d expect to pay out of pocket, if anything.
